NDIS 101 If you are thinking about delivering services under the NDIS, it is extremely important to understand the overall system and your options about being a service provider. This is a 3-hour self-paced module targeted at Mental & Allied Health Professionals. You will learn: - An overview of the NDIS system - The principles of the NDIS - The difference between registered & non-registered providers, opportunities, obligations & potential audits - Accessing the NDIS for potential Participants and the types of funding they may receive - how this is assessed and how it can be used - Essentials for delivery services including best practices, risks, trauma, reporting, suitability to delivery services & holistic care - An overview of delivery opportunities, particularly targeted for mental & allied health professionals, with some extras You can start delivering services today!! There is a short quiz at the end of the module to confirm you have completed it with an 80% pass mark. If you have membership with the Australian Counselling Association this module attracts 3 OPD points. This module is suitable for all levelled training streams with the hours being credited to your next level. At the end of the module you will receive a certificate, if you would like the micro-credential issued a simple email to alert us will trigger that to happen.
