The NDIS is not an island able to be solely relied upon. The micro-credential will take you through a variety of supports and services available to people living with a disability and their informal carers. To provide effective and holistic support, particularly in support coordination it is imperative that you have a diverse knowledge of what is available. This micro-credential doesn't stop there, it goes through many of the medical specialisations seen in reports but poorly understood as to what they do and how it all meshes together in order to get the best outcomes for clients. Seasoned professionals and newbies will benefit enormously from this micro-credential. This module is suitable for all levelled training streams with the hours being credited to your next level. At the end of the module, you will receive a certificate, if you would like the micro-credential issued a simple email to alert us will trigger that to happen. ADAPTS training showcases your disability sector expertise at a glance. There is a quiz at the end of the module with an 80% pass mark, your certificate will be issued and if you'd like to showcase your expertise you can request your micro-credential to be issued. If you are a member of the Australian Counselling Association this course attracts 3 OPD.
