Trauma Informed Care, Level 1

Trauma informed care is a cornerstone of disability service delivery. The statistics are so high that trauma should assumed rather than a specialised issue. This module is for anyone in disability services. Look at trauma from a client perspective as well as looking after staff well-being. As an introduction or refresher, this module won't disappoint. This module covers: - Trauma basics, types and reactions - The principles of trauma informed care - Assisting someone in a trauma state - Secondary and vicarious trauma A trauma informed care framework checklist and planner is included as a special bonus.
